The Pastors Study v6.1
The Pastor’s Study program produced by RCL Software was designed with the help of many pastors. Who better than the person who is going to use the program? The Pastor's Study Features
The sermon section of The Pastor's Study allow all or either of these features; cataloging, tracking, and/or preparation. This program will access your favorite programs used to write the sermon. It will also link your sermons and your personal library to each other through a common subject. Each sermon and each resource can have unlimited subjects! Maintain your personal library using the Dewey decimal system. You will be able to search using author, title and subject. Print spine labels for each book and arrange them in Dewey decimal order. The library and sermons share subjects; this allows you to quickly find a book for a sermon. If a church member asks for more information about the sermon topic you can suggest a specific book. If you loan out your copy enter the name of the person you loaned it to in the Location data field. This way you can keep up with all your resources. You can export all your library data to MS Excel. The powerful Query Designer is now available on many of the maintenance windows. Every report created with the Report Designer also has access to the Query Designer. This tool will walk you though the design of the most complicated query.
New in version 6.0 is a Report Designer. This powerful new feature allows you to create the report you need. Add the Query Designer and you have a very powerful reporting tool.
Keep a detailed list of illustrations for future use by date, category, and multiple key words. Create and use your own definitions to ease searching for just the right story, joke or other illustration. Click to view Illustration sample screens.
Using The Pastor's Study you can keep a diary of your own personal thoughts and activities using the Journal feature. Click to view journal diary and sample screens.
The Counseling section of The Pastor's Study is password protected allowing privacy in this multi-user application. Each session is recorded individually making review easy and fast. Visitation Diary allows the tracking of each person or persons you visit. Optionally create an appointment and add it to your appointment calendar. Click to view Visitation detail and sample screens.
Maintain your personal prayer list. Requests have a status showing if the request is been answered or it is waiting on the Lord's time. Click to view Prayer List detail and sample screens
We now have an improved calendar and appointment schedule. You may add appointments and tasks, assign each to a resource. There is no limit to the number of resources you may add. Click to view information about the new calendar and appointment schedule.
Using the Contact Manager you may keep a list of all contacts including: 4 telephone numbers, email address, type of service to the church, and the skills the contact has offered to share with the church. Expense recording and reporting has also been added. Track expenses in detail by organization and event. Print out a report to submit for each organization within a specified date range. Click to view Expense detail and sample screens.
An import function for the sermon and library files. You design your own export file to match either; dBase, Delimited ASCII (comma, tab, pipe and semicolon), and Flat ASCII.
