Why do you need Folder Pilot?
The Problem: Navigating hard drives and folder structures can be difficult. You quickly lose sight of where you are in a complex hard drive/folder structure and how to find the folders that contain your work files or to save documents in the correct location. This time-consuming maneuver plays itself out a dozen times a day, and is more difficult than it has to be. The Solution: Folder Pilot.
Folder Pilot replaces the standard Address bar in Windows Explorer and displays folder structures as clickable paths. You are able to see at a glance "where you are", namely the path of the current folder. From here you can navigate to any folder on the hard drive at lightning speed.
Quicker access to important directories!
With Folder Pilot, "soar" through your hard drive. The drop down menus with folder levels make it easy to browse the entire hard drive with just 2 clicks of the mouse: Simply click on the start folder displayed in the address bar, hold down the mouse button, and navigate to and select the destination folder. Release the mouse button to open the folder. Finished!
Access your favorite folders from anywhere!
You can access your favorite folders even faster. Folder Pilot also adds a Favorites menu to the folder context menu (in the File menu, in Explorer and on the Desktop). The menu contains shortcuts to your favorite folders. With these shortcuts, you can navigate the folders you frequently use without having to wander through hard drives, tree structures and folders.
